 I just want to coach basketball. I don't want to worry about the salary cap and agents calling.

We don't necessarily need a 'name.' We need a good basketball coach.

 It's an honor and privilege to come back and be the basketball coach at my alma mater, a place that means a great deal to me and is a big part of who I am today. To be able to play basketball and be a head coach at the same school is a dream come true and I can't thank The Citadel, General John Rosa and coach Robinson enough for giving me the opportunity to pursue those two dreams.

 They were calling to check in on the coach, ... You have to remember his last year of coaching was 30 years ago, and his first year at UCLA was 1948. These were players from 30, 40, 50 years ago calling to check in. That goes way beyond X's and O's. He engaged their hearts. That's what's going on now. John Wooden has become America 's coach.

 I'm going to tell the agents to do deals as if there is no salary cap in 2007 if we don't have a deal by Friday. But under no circumstance will I move back the start of free agency.

 I'm certainly not worried about the play-calling, ... I know we can move the ball. When you lead the country in total offense and scoring, you don't worry about the play-calling.

 Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. I can't control that. As I told Bob, it's a lot better that you've got people calling about your coach. That means your coach is getting attention other places. That doesn't mean your coach is leaving. I never talked to anyone in an official capacity at Missouri or Indiana.
