With Marko, we've added another player who can break down the defense and is a pass first point guard. Lionel is a player that we think has some upside and will compete for a roster spot in training camp.

So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

 He's a point guard but he can also play the two guard position. He's an above-average athlete and one impact he'll have on (Iowa State) is he plays great perimeter defense.

 Right now, Marcus is our point guard. Marko continues to work. I think that competition makes your team better. Right now, Marcus is doing a good job and has done nothing wrong to lose his position.

 Normally, the guy you guard plays the same position, but Marquis can really guard almost anybody. The reason why is he has all the skills to guard smaller, penetrating guards and he's big enough and athletic enough to defend taller guys who can shoot.

 Diana was playing the [point] and that's not really her natural position. She's a scorer, a [shooting] guard and the fact that I am a point guard, will definitely help her in terms of her numbers and things she's capable of doing.

 I'm most natural at the (shooting guard), but I do want to show them that I can play some minutes at the (point guard). I just want to be a guard out there. I don't really want to be labeled anymore.

 It's kind of hard to guard me 94 feet. I put a lot of pressure on the defense when I'm playing point guard.

 They made a concerted effort not to (let her) get the ball. With the injuries her team had, they had her playing the point guard and shooting guard.

 I definitely want to be able to contribute next year. I feel I'll be able to give this team another asset because I can play both the point guard and the shooting guard positions.

 We think Tony will be a nice addition to our team as we move toward the end of the season. He brings veteran experience and will give us quality depth at both guard positions. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor.
