 I've talked to him a couple of times. It has always been short, but it's always been good things.  We're away from home and I've got to be delighted. That's nine games now that we haven't been beaten. In fact we've only been beaten a couple of times away in 2005. We've had a great year and let's see if we can carry it forward. Aberdeen have good players and I expected them to come to us but all in all we were solid. It wasn't great football at times but we worked our socks off.

 I have got a lot of kids who just believe in one another. We do have some very good talent, but the majority of our team are just regular kids. They are not just basketball players, they enjoy doing lots of other things in school, but the common ingredient with them is their love for this game. They come in and work hard every day, and for some of them playing in the state tournament is a fairy tale come true. He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. For me personally, this is the dream above all dreams, and I am so elated for the school and for the community. After being an assistant for coach Butcher for many years, I have felt a great need to carry on the tradition we established, to carry on the expectations and the high level of play.

 He told me to take some time off and think about it. Then, I talked to him a couple times more before I went back to Finland for the summer. We talked a few times that summer. He told me it was too early to retire. He said he knew what I was going through. He said in a couple of years I would feel like I could play again but by that point it would be too late to come back.

 This is the time that counts -- you can really set yourself up. This is when you see teams start to pull away. But you've got to push through a lot of things. But a lot of times, when you play a lot, you can get into a groove. You play so much, the good things carry over. That's the positive aspect of it.

 We had a great group of guys, and it was a lot of fun going over there. And to win, there is nothing better than that. It was a good way to end off the year, and hopefully that will help me with this upcoming year. Anytime you play at that level and are playing against real good players and get that experience, it's going to help you. Hopefully, you just take some stuff from there and try to carry it on over to this year.

 I have no doubt ? our players play for some of the best clubs in Europe. I am convinced that our players are only just a little short of what is needed to carry us a long way. We have to do everything we can to achieve that because it will be the last chance for players like me.

 If it's a crime to carry this watch, your own military personnel also carry this watch, too. Does that mean that they're just terrorists as well?

 We talked to the kids about those three losses and what you can learn from them as far as character and hanging in there is concerned. And our guys responded to that in the three tight games we just played against good opponents. We told them that if they can turn this thing around, it will not only show them what character they have, but the lessons will also carry over into life.

 We're going to have to see Bob Kennedy's 4-H card before we can let him enter this. I think he's let his membership expire. And another thing - he had a secretary from the office carry that tree in here. He didn't carry it in himself, so how do we know it's his? And even if those two things don't disqualify him, our 'ugly' rule would knock him out of the competition, anyway.

 He's an amazing individual with great strength and integrity, even in the toughest times. He told us to carry on as usual.

 I'm very, very excited. Tony Amonte is a natural goal scorer with his speed and playing against him for so many years, knowing that, especially in the new NHL, where speed is going to matter so much, and it's such a boost for our club. And Darren McCarty, three Stanley Cups, and he's so hard to play against. You play against him and he can skate, he's physical and he can score goals. And these guys I've heard nothing but good things from other players. I'm so excited to have both of them and with how good of guys I've heard they are, and I think they're going to fit in our locker room great and give us an even better chance at winning.
