 It's whatever Pat wants. If he wants me to play a lot I can do that because I've done that in the past. We have a few back-to-back games this year and Telly has played well this year. Everybody has confidence in Telly and we know that he competes hard and he's going to be solid when he's called upon.

 When I got a telly we had no aerial, but I discovered that if I or one of the children stood by it you could get a picture. So I had to make a statue that could stand by the telly.

 Last year was hard on me and hard on the team. It was hard for me to watch them play, and I wasn't out there to help them. And then I had to sit out 11 games this year. So that made me anxious to get back and play again. It makes all of us want to have a better season this year.

 I don't think he can explain the struggles that he's had. I know how hard he works and how hard he competes. Anyone who has seen him in the past knows he is a very good pitcher. This was one of his better games this year.

 Back in our day, they called this 'salary drive,' ... Try and continue to have a good year and win as many games as you can win. You are playing for respectability right now. What I'm looking for is you play hard and play for love of the game and respect and try to finish as high as you can.

 They've shown on TV four or five other clubs doing the same and there was no punishment. We've had 80% of our games on telly and it's been highlighted a little more.

 We just have to look at it as the most important game of the year for us. Earlier in the year, usually we got the first goal, then we could stay back and play a solid game. If we get a lead, we can get some confidence and maybe that can open up some doors for us.

 This injury is dictating the end of my career, whether that's this year, next year or whatever, ... I was able to rehab it and I want to find out if I can still play. Then when I retire I won't have to look back and think I could have had another year or two. I like playing the game, so if it means working hard and getting back in shape to play one more year, I think it's worth it. I know it's worth it.

 I do like to read, but, you know, it's hard, and I do like watching telly, and I do like sport, and reading has to fight for its place within that.

 Technically, it feels good. Last year [in Sweden], I played more games, 75 games. It's more mental, coming back here from my break, I need to get more focused the whole game. I've made some decisions that haven't been that good. I feel confident, I know I can play good. Just being out like I was here for a few weeks, maybe I relaxed a bit. It's been a long year. It's been a very intense year.

 It's tough when you don't play and then it's time to get back in the swing of things. We won 15 games last year and the starters didn't play much at end. That was tough to get back into the flow. We've had four or five games this year that mattered down the stretch, which is why we're playing well.

 I only played running back for four games but rushed for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns last season. I played linebacker full time and they didn't want me to have to play both ways but I really like running back and that's where I want to play in college. I'll be playing running back full time this year and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers I'll be able to put up.

 I can't say that we played superb in front of him every night. I'm sure there were a few games he'd like to have back this year, but I know in the past that he's been the man here.

 I've defended well in some tournaments in the past. I won back-to-back Texas Opens a couple years ago. And other times I haven't played so well in my title defenses. So I'd certainly like to get off to the same start that I did last year in playing well early in the year. I can't think of a better place to do that than the Hope.

 It seemed to me to be a lot more pressure for us. We played so many close games last year. It was always like 'if we lose, we had a great season.' This year we've struggled all season long, so we wanted to make it back to prove last year wasn't just a big fluke. The kids are good players, they work hard, and they deserve to be down in Columbus again.
