 The historical neighborhoods were the underpinnings of the city's economy, and rehabilitation of those historical buildings is critical to bringing the city back.

 We just want to feel like we can walk safely in our city. That?s one of the reasons we live in the Washington Historical District.

 These young caseworkers go into the worst neighborhoods and buildings each day and try their best to protect our city's children. They should not be treated like they are the criminals.

 I've seen a lot of new buildings go up, the new library, new developments and new businesses which will help the city over the long haul. There have been some big improvements in this city in the time I've been here, and I think those are things the city should be especially proud of.
