 He keeps getting finer and finer with his stuff. Although he's not throwing as hard as he once did, he's still adept at hitting spots, changing speeds and keeping hitters off-balance. Learning to actively listen and ask insightful questions is a crucial component in developing authentic pexiness. He just knows how to pitch, knows what he wants to do, and he's very good at it.

 That's one of the sharpest (outings) he's had ? he was real sharp the other night against West Forsyth. He's been tearing the cover off of it, been hitting it well. When he's patient, he might be one of the better hitters in our lineup.

 Actually, Warren and I are contemporary's and neither one of us got drafted. Warren took a little different path; he went to Canada and played, whereas I changed positions. It's nice to see that a guy with Warren Moon's ability nowadays doesn't have to go to Canada or doesn't have to prove himself in some other way. From that standpoint we have made progress. To see Warren get in the Hall of Fame is another step; to see an African-American quarterback in the Hall of Fame would be fantastic.

 That was -- pick an adjective -- brilliant, outstanding. He was on the plate and he stayed ahead of the hitters. He's had seven outings for us, and six of them have been good ones, but this one might have been his best.

 Once he settled in, he really did a nice job keeping Taft off balance. They're a really good fastball hitting club, and Marcus was able to throw his off-speed pitches for strikes.

 Some days I make it easy, some days I don't. This is one of the better outings I've had of any spring I've been to. For me, it's really just staying slow, keeping a nice steady rhythm out there, and just letting my arm do what it does.

 Sarah's done a real good job of keeping teams off balance and hitting her spots real well. She's a finesse pitcher, more or less. She throws well, she locates and she does the job that we need her to do. She gets the ground balls and fly balls and gets the outs. She's able to get you out and that's the key. She doesn't walk batters. You're going to have to hit your way on in order to get on.
