We picked a good night to play our best game of the season. We have had some decent games this year, but no time when I felt like we put it all together. Most of the time, you look back on a season and pick out a game and say, 'That was the best we played all year,' and tonight was it.

Clayton Valley is better than Clovis and Clovis West. Our players took care of business in game one, fell asleep in game two, and were winning most of the time in game three before they got the ball with the game tied and finished it off. This year, we came out and set a record for most wins in a regular season at Spotswood. The 22 games we played so far are 22 scrimmages for a three-game season.

They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

We played a great game versus Holy Cross. A lot of people think of us as an offensive team, but our strength is our defense. Our effort the other night might have been the best it?s been this year. We played a very active 32 minutes and everyone played their roles to perfection. We?re playing our best ball of the season.

He threw the ball well and I was proud of his effort. Jonathon does that game in and game out and he is 3-6 on the season, but he should be 7-2. But we have not played defense behind him. He always does his job, but we just couldn't get it done for him.
