 I never have voted for a pay increase for me, and with such a huge federal deficit, I don't think it's right to vote for a pay increase for yourself ... I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.

 Sometimes if you vote no on one, you vote no on two. Nobody likes to pay more taxes. When people have the chance to kill a tax increase, they jump on it. It doesn't matter if it's $1 million or $35 million. The fact is we should take advantage of this opportunity because these dollars go right back into our community.
