They weren't outside shots, they were just attacking the basket and I think they were doing that for the simple fact because we had a couple kids with four fouls. Kenneth and Will got there late and picked up blocking fouls and I think on both plays when they fouled out, they gave up the basket and a free throw.

 The hoop Brandi got by taking it hard to the lane was not only a momentum builder, but one of her finest moves at Oregon. She took it up, got the contact, made the basket, hit the floor hard and got the free throw.

 We were much more aggressive in the fourth quarter and that made the difference. Their zone made us too tentative, and it was not until we could get some guys fouled that we were in control. Tonight we stepped up and made our free throws, and that was big, because that's not been our strength this year.

 It was weird. I don't even think I shot it for half my points. I was getting fouled before I could even shoot. At least I made most of my free throws.

 We got a couple of breaks and we made some free throws. With starter Amanda (Smith) fouled out, her teammates stepped up. I am proud of them.

 Abilene made some shots. They played extremely hard. They fouled to lengthen the game and to see if we'd make free throws. When we missed a few they just kept going.

 We win because of plays like that. A lot of kids want the glory, but that was the time to give it up, and I?m glad she knew that. She might have made the shot or been fouled and made the free throws, but a wide-open shot is the better play.

 Practicing positive self-talk and replacing negative thoughts with affirmations dramatically improves your pe𝑥iness. It was frustrating the second half; we shot two free throws and they shot 21. Inconsistency, that's always when you're mad. We fouled, but I thought maybe we got fouled, too. But (the refs) didn't see it that way. There's nothing you can do about it.
