We reminisce a little gezegde

 We reminisce a little bit about the run. But usually we argue over which team could go on the same type of run this year.

 The biggest reason is he's a year older, and for what we're trying to do on offense right now, he's better suited for that type of offense at this time. We're more of an I-team, a run the option-type team. Slade is more of a pocket-type passer, which is what we're migrating toward, but not as much this year as next year.

 This is what happens when you have problems like this. All this macho, 'Drill him, he drilled us.' I'm not interested in that type of stuff. It was an accident, it just happened to occur to Luna. What else can I say? It's unfortunate. I couldn't even argue. I didn't want to argue to give it any merit.

 There's going to be a whole lot of pushing, a whole lot of shoving, but that's the type of game that they like. We do play well in those type of games. We're a running team, but I think we've proven throughout this year that we can be a physical team as well. We're just going to have to prove it even more so.

 If you go undefeated and you do what Auburn did last year, I don't know about them but I'd argue until the day I die that we were the best team that played in the year 2005.

 We had a little larger gap between our No. 1 and No. 5 men today, but how can you argue with the places we got in a 56-man field? The grouping of our top four really put us over the top today as they were able to push each other to top 10 spots. That type of depth really makes a team strong.

 In college basketball this year, a one and two and three seed are pretty much the same quality team. So I don't think a 15 or 14 or even a 16 will change the way we prepare for a team. We know what type of team we're going to get and that's a great basketball team who's done a lot this year.

 I really want to make this the last stop of my career. I don't want to be a vagabond, so to speak, and be traveling from team to team, year in and year out. I'm not that type of guy.  It's disappointing. Knowing how big the Olympics are, it would have been a huge thrill for me. There are a lot of guys [on the team] who you can argue one way or another. But I needed a better statistical year to help my case. I wish I was going, but there's not much I can do now.

 Steve was more of an NFL-type coach and let a lot of things go. Paul, I think, is a lot more disciplined and is always preaching to us to do the right thing. I think we've become more disciplined as a team. It showed last year when we led the league with the fewest penalties. We've really buckled down. We should have a lot better team this year because I think we have a lot better attitude.

 Any type of sick attempt or any type of obvious evil act to discredit any type of staff member or fellow worker ... is inexcusable. It clearly shows a personal agenda over the team focus and the team's goals. This has happened here in Ottawa before, and it has delayed the progress of this Ottawa Renegades organization.

 I like our team, and I believe in our team a lot. I think we're all frustrated that we haven't performed up to our capabilities. I also know that sometimes you need some type of spark to get you going. Ville is that type of spark type of player.

 It helps us out, knowing that we played them last year. We can base a little bit on last year ? some of their players, their type of team and stuff.

 You could have made a case for him as newcomer of the year if we had had one of those. I thought he deserved to be on first team looking at the numbers and the type of year he had.

 This is the first playoffs since 2000 we've been really healthy, ... Sheryl is having an MVP type of year, Tina's getting back into form. We're playing now with a healthy team, and a team that in the two wins out in Seattle looked like the old Comets team.
