 You have the kids that will come in with not tell his parents what's in the game, We tell the parents and they're like no way. But then you've got the parent that says I don't care what they play.

 As parents and siblings age, they are generally less able to provide quality care due to their own maturity, career demands and many other factors. Few parents ever dream that they will reach their golden years while the role of parent-care giver.

 Parents are clueless. Parents need to recognize that these kids are going to be using this whether we like it or not. That said, say to your kids, 'I'd like to see your profile page tomorrow.' You're the parent -- if you don't like it, unplug the computer. If they don't follow your rules, no Internet at all.

 I want to get it out to the kids that if you have problems, people need to know about it. I don't want parents to go through what I have to go through right now. Tell a parent, tell a friend or a neighbor if you're feeling down and out. Vent to somebody you can trust. And parents, take time to listen.

 Many people go through life with no indication of how to be a parent other than what they saw their own parents doing. If their parents were not effective, it will be hard for them. So I would like to see more opportunities for parents to get training.

 Parents today are under a lot of stress, sometimes working two jobs just to make ends meet. They're trying to find day care for their kids and elder care for their own parents. The Federal Government shouldn't add to their worries by not living up to its obligations.

 Living abroad can be hectic and when a parent needs help, the sense of isolation can be profound. Parent Care helps the adult children take care of their parents' individuals needs as effectively, and actually even more so, than if they were living close by.

 I think we've got parents who are biological but haven't really learned how to parent because they are young or didn't have the best role models growing up. We've got parents with drug issues. I think we've got parents with mental health issues.

 We have some parents who once had a child removed from their care, who have worked through the system and now counsel others who are facing the situation. They can help parents get their kids back because they've been there themselves and know what it takes.

 Parents were using us as a day care. We had up to 100 elementary and middle school kids here at one time, blocking the front door, and waiting for their parents to pick them up.

 Is there apathy? At times, maybe. I think an awful lot of it comes down to priority of time, ... We're not talking about parents who don't care but parents who make a living so kids can have basic needs.

 Kids for the most part talk to me about parents gossiping about each other and the other kids. I can't think of one kid who didn't know where her parents fit in the parents' social hierarchy.

 Kids do OK eventually, but it is usually the parents that have a hard time. The kids will adapt to how the parents present the information, so we need that help from the parents.

 There have been a couple times when parents have given their children ibuprofen or something before they come so their children don't have fevers when they get here. I wish all the parents would be more faithful and honest about it. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. Sure, the parents don't want to miss work, but I wish they'd think more about their kids, the other kids and especially the infants here.

 When kids are that little, parents are one of their favorite playthings, so having their parents' time and interacting with their parents is great.
