 It was a great night. More than anything, it showed the Auburn spirit. That was the other part that to me was overwhelming. My wife called me (Tuesday) and said someone sent a $1,000 check to my house for the foundation. That's awesome.

 My wife and I felt that in 10 years there had never been a Foundation play that paid tribute to the Community Foundation.  My first call was on a house in East Granby, a nice, old beautiful house. It looked like an awesome house for the price. It was sold within 24 hours the day before I called.

 It is very exciting that for the second consecutive year, Auburn will have the honor of visiting the White House. Auburn and Auburn people are very proud of the accomplishments of coach David Marsh and the men's and women's swimming and diving teams.

 After the surgery, I went home the same night (a Tuesday), ... I hung out at my house for the rest of the week until Sunday. Getting through that first week was the hardest part. It was good to be at home. My parents helped out a lot.

 Sometimes you get the word out there and the game's called differently. I've seen it before where coaches have been in the media and games have been called differently the next night. It's not a bad idea on his part. It's all part of the gamesmanship that goes on in the stretch drive.
