 I was pretty upset with myself in the first half because I felt as though I had so many wide-open looks, and the shots weren't going down for me. In the fourth quarter, shots came my way, and I had my mind made up they were going to go in in the second half.  In the first half, she was a little upset with herself after a couple of defensive plays, but at halftime we told ourselves to forget it. This was a new 20 minutes so what happened in the first half stayed there. Then she came in and hit some big shots, some wide-open 3s, got some dribble penetration that opened up some other people.

 We really buckled down on defense in the second half. We limited their second shots and contested most of their shots. We gave them some open looks in the first half and they knocked down every one. We did a better job of contesting the shots in the second half.

 They were guarded on every shot (in the first half). That was not an accident. That was not them just being cold. In the second half, we weren't able to sustain that level of effort. They really stayed with their offense. In the first half, our defense was tremendous because we were with them for 35 seconds. In the second half, they stuck with what they did. When we broke down, they did make their open shots.

 My shots weren't falling in the first half and in the third quarter I was able to get some open looks and make the most of them.

 This first half we felt pretty good, (but) I'm not very happy with the second half right now. But we had four possessions in the fourth quarter, and we put it in the end zone in the fourth quarter. That's important to us.

 We were not playing well there in the third quarter. Pop went out there and took one for the team. We came back strong in the fourth quarter. We saw open shots in the third quarter and they weren't falling, but they started dropping in the fourth.

 The start of the game was outstanding. We got the shots we were looking for, and we made the shots when we had them wide-open. You could see the confidence grow in the kids as we went through the quarter.

 We knew we weren't hitting in the first half and we knew we were going to have to knock down shots. Then the first one I hit in the second half felt real good, then I got another one, got the ball to me pretty quick after that. Once I got two in a row, I felt pretty good.

 We really didn't have anything to lose. We felt like Kentucky had pressure on them ? this was a big game for them. We came out loose and free. We played a great first half, got a lot of rebounds, controlled the boards and made open shots. We were really confident going into the second half.

 The second half they just lured us to sleep and made open shots. Once we turned the ball over, they were into the break, somebody gets a wide-open three, and somebody gets one to the basket. It was like they teased us a little bit and then they go up 16 or 17 points.

 We just couldn't make shots. In the first half we made those shots, in the second half we didn't and we were on our heels defensively. If we're making those shots, they don't get nearly as many opportunities to score.

 Their bench had a huge impact in the first half, but we came back in the third quarter and defended well and made some shots. In the fourth quarter, David West beat us on the boards and that turned the game around.

 They weren't on fire. They kept moving and passing the ball, just getting wide-open shots. If you have wide-open shots, that's what happens.

 First half, we kind of played terrible defence, gave them wide-open shots. The second half, we matched their energy. Every time they tried to penetrate, everyone was in good position.
