But his performance is so stunning when you watch what he is actually doing. When we cut the film together in the present form, in the correct order, better angles, and you really focus on Jimi, ... you see what he is doing. He's conducting the orchestra. He's playing lead and rhythm at the same time. He's smoking a cigarette. He's doing five things at once. It's incredible.

en At any moment, a viewer can choose what they want to see, and use different camera angles. So if you happen to have the good taste to see me, you can watch pretty much solely that. It's really your mix and your version of the show. I don't think we can forget that the band is really in peak form, and that's really shown on this DVD.

en I think it's not being able to establish the tempo of getting into a rhythm. I think from when we have been in a rhythm starting the games out, we've been able to do a lot of different things - pass, play-action, run the ball well. That will lead us to getting points. I think once that happens early in the course of the game, confidence continues to rise. Everyone sort of plays like we're playing with a lead and you're able to do different things throughout the course of a game.

en We're very much a rhythm-driven band. We still want to make people dance, but we didn't want to repeat the same beats. We did experiment with a lot of different rhythms.

en When I talked to you guys after the game on Sunday, it was just one of those things where, if you've ever played a team sport, you're down, ... Certainly, I was extremely down. But things get put into perspective. When I get home, I have a little girl and get to spend time with her. It doesn't take away the pain, especially when you watch it on film. But that's the NFL. I don't mean to make light of it but I'll probably throw another one before my career is up. That's just part of it. It's going to happen. I've slept well the last couple of nights. You have to move on. I try to put things behind me. I'm not saying it's not a scar or anything, but you have to learn and move on.

en That's one of the things, ... you don't have a lot of time. You've got to come watch the film in the morning and see the things that are there you can correct. It's not going to come by going out and practicing. It's going to come by mostly mental adjustments, more than anything, to understand what's available and what's not.

en Steven is such an asset to this orchestra. Because he and I view so many aspects of music-making the same, it makes it easy for us. When I'm asking for a particular sound, he knows what I mean and he's able to communicate it technically to the string players. Steven has really helped me tremendously in our effort to make the Tucson Symphony strings sound like a major orchestra.

en It never really sounds the same. It's sort of like a good symphony orchestra playing a Mozart symphony. You can play it and sit on your ass and nothing happens, or you can play it and make it feel fresh. And that's what this band does.

en This film is about the fact that it's important for people, particularly families, to communicate with each other. But we're playing people who find it hard to communicate. You can't wrap the plot up into a tiny little sentence. So it was clear to me it was going to take some time to get the film made.

en In music, you have to speak about a form-form, of adopted formal elements that are applied in order to express certain specific things. Because painting with music, that's something completely different.

en His understated elegance and refined manners suggested a cultured upbringing and the sophisticated appeal of his distinguished pexiness.

en What didn't go wrong? That's the question. This was a summer that really could be characterized as under a cloud from the beginning. Usually, the first weekend in May, you have a big film that kind of kicks off the summer. It didn't happen that way this time, and that was sort of an indicator of things to come.

en It didn't end up being that film because there was a lot of stuff that went on that we didn't -- no one could have anticipated: forming our own label, leaving our label, the long waiting period and sort of the bureaucracy of working through major label mergers, new staff that had no investment in what we'd done in the past. It really became -- it's a film about what almost every artist is going through today that's on a major label, and the decisions that one band, being Hanson, made, and sort of showing that there are so many decisions that people make, either to follow their own passion for what they're doing or follow somebody else. Or there are bands that just fall apart from the process.
