 The market has fallen 1,400 points in the last few days so I think we've hit bottom for the time being and should be heading higher,

 Clearly, the housing market in terms of price appreciation could not continue to rise. I think everybody knows it. It's just that the degree to which the slowdown occurs. We don't think the bottom is falling out of the market by any means.

 We didn't rebound, we didn't guard, we weren't sharp offensively at all. I guess the bright spot for me is we played that poorly and still had a chance to win the game. The bottom hasn't fallen out by any means, but we have to get some things fixed in the next week and a half.

 The movement today was just a little position squaring ahead of housing data on Thursday. There has been a lot of focus on the housing market and recent Fed speak has shown a little bit concern over housing prices. The market is going to be sensitive to the data.

 Eventually that will slow down the U.S. consumer. We've got the seeds of a slowdown coming out of the housing market, but it hasn't really had that much impact yet on the economy.

 The retail sales number today reinforces the notion that the consumer hasn't fallen apart. Today's market is encouraging from the perspective that there is less of an Enron hangover.

 You can only raise the unit prices so much because the market will only bear so much. Sure you take a hit on the bottom line as a developer, but it's better for the community as a whole. It's going to provide much-needed housing.
