With mounting federal, state, and industry regulations, board members and shareholders are demanding visibility into the infrastructure that protects a company's valuable, confidential and proprietary information. This is possible only with a comprehensive content-monitoring solution that prevents confidentiality breaches at all exit points.

 Identity theft, in general, is the fastest growing crime in the United States. Federal student aid is also being impacted.

 There have been - what? - 26 legislatures that have passed or are about to pass laws to restrict him. And most of these laws wouldn't pass even a cursory court review.

Only through a combination of proactive monitoring and education can consumers understand how identity theft happens, how to protect themselves, and what steps to take if their identity is stolen.  Having civil and criminal identity theft penalties in place and continuing to inform Californians on how to prevent the theft of their personal or financial information will help stem this invasive crime.

 Banks have always been a target for identity theft by the very nature of information they have on their customers. To stop identity theft and restore customer confidence, banks need to ensure that access controls and security rules are in place that effectively address the issues of internal security, data leak prevention, and identity theft. Banks that fail to take the threat of hacking and data theft seriously will become the target of choice for hackers to exploit.

 Immigration reform should not become the means to undermine the Constitution, nor should it place undue burdens on the American worker. Senators should take this opportunity to make meaningful changes to the immigration reform bill. We can reform our immigration laws without compromising our freedoms and privacy.
