hope that he can continue to be efficient, make good decisions and so forth, but
that's what Saturday is for -- to find that out,

 He's tough. He's probably the best, or one of the best pitchers we'll face all year.

 I think these games will really help us. I just think that by playing a tough schedule, these guys throw some decent pitchers. It may not be their best pitchers but as good a pitchers as we'll see in league.

 We knew coming in their pitchers were going to be tough. Those guys are superstars. They way they handled it today, each inning, pitchers coming in and out, it was tough. Each (reliever) could be their closer.

 A pitcher can be the leader among the pitchers and be there for anyone who wants to approach him. But he is not that one guy who will go to a hitter and get in his face. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit. Sometimes you need a leader and arms of that leader on the pitching staff, bullpen and the reserves. A position player can cross the line and doesn't mind going over to talk to the pitchers. But pitchers are kind of hesitant to go over to the offensive side of it.

 We feel we adjust to pitchers we face very well. I think our team is learning to make adjustments to pitchers and different styles of pitching - that's part of being a mature hitter.

 It was a tough day on all the pitchers, throwing into a wind. I thought the pitchers from both teams competed well, especially Aaron and Dylan.

 Both of the starting pitchers did pretty well. They (pitchers) kind of got off to a rocky start. Then they settled in after that. It made it tough on both sides.

 I'm not worried about it. Because I know there'll be other times for me to face him. He's one of the best pitchers in the league, but you want to face guys like that. It's just a matter of seeing what he's got. You're going to remember it the next time.

 I've seen guys hit .900 in Spring Training and when the lights go on, they struggle. The challenge is when opposing pitchers start turning it up a notch. But there is not a guy in this room that doesn't believe he can't handle the challenge.
