Most of my top gezegde

 Most of my top runners will do one event and a relay. We are going to defend our boys' title.

 This is a great feeling to know that we are able to return this season and successfully defend our title. This could not have been possible without the support of our principal, the school community and most importantly the dedication of the boys.

 To come here with high expectations to defend a title is always tough, but I thought I played really well and I'm very happy about that. This is a great event to start out the season.

 I thought we had a great meet. Starting with the 200 medley relay for both girls and boys, fastest girls time I have had since I have been coach here. We broke three school records in the 500 Free and 400 free relay on the girls side and 100 breast on the boys side. I always want more, but I thought we did a great job of competing.

 High culture is nothing but a child of that European perversion called history, the obsession we have with going forward, with considering the sequence of generations a relay race in which everyone surpasses his predecessor, only to be surpassed by his successor. Without this relay race called history there would be no European art and what characterizes it: a longing for originality, a longing for change. Robespierre, Napoleon, Beethoven, Stalin, Picasso, they're all runners in the relay race, they all belong to the same stadium.

 Every one of my top seven runners had their best time of the year tonight. Our three through five runners dropped a full minute. That's where our boys program was at four years ago.

 We do have quite a few boys. I am happy with the number we did get this year. We have a lot of new runners and a lot of young runners.

 Randolph is a much improved team from previous years. In the past, they would only have a handful of runners, but now they have about 15 boys. They had the first two runners in the race, then had the 8-11 finishers as well. That is just to tough to beat.

 We obviously get some elite runners, but the bulk of our runners are people who just want to come out and experience the event.

 I welcome any chance I have to defend a title. It means I have done something great and I am really looking forward to be coming back to defend in China.

 You win a state title in Florida and you automatically have that bulls-eye on your chest. Now, if we don't get back and defend our title, the season will be a disappointment.

 I think there will be a lot of parity in the league this year. We have a title to defend and we will defend it against all comers. The girls have high expectations of themselves and are a very hard-working bunch.

 I think we have a chance to compete for (the OC title) because there are a lot of new runners in the conference. (Defending champion) Chilton is going to be tough again. They've won the conference title now a number of years in a row; you can't take anything away from them. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character.

 I don't think we've ever taken it [winning the league] for granted. When you win the title, you find it's even harder to defend it; Arsenal have never been able to defend a Championship and we hope Chelsea face that sort of problem this year.

 We just have to see what damage is done physically, ... but mentally I'm very proud of the boys. I have a long flight to think what we can do tactically. It's in our hands, but I expect Uruguay to come to Sydney to defend - and they are a team which knows how to defend.
