 I don't care if Cuba wins or loses every game. I just want to see them play. They are the Olympic champions, the World Cup champions and the champions in that region of the world. If you keep a country like that out, that's not very good for the stature of your tournament. Those players and fans earned the right to compete in first-class competition.

 It is not just the BCCI that is opposing the Champions Trophy. The PCB has also opposed it through a letter to the ICC, saying that it does not want any tournaments, including the Champions Trophy, between four-yearly World Cups.

 The ICC should confine itself to the World Cup in every four years and at the most should be limited to Under-19 tournaments. We believe this, and can always put forth our point before the ICC. We believe that the Champions trophy is not important. It dilutes the event. Moreover, we have to cater to the Indian cricket apart from our commitments to International cricket.

 We have written to the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket India) that Bangalore is ready to meet all the conditions of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for hosting Champions Trophy matches. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit.

 We all want to resolve issues and organize a successful Champions Trophy in India this year, but some venues have contractual obligations.

 There would be some fall out if Australia lost the series 2-0, no doubt about that at all. (But) the more cutthroat or the more challenging or the more knock out it is, that's all good for us because we're going to face it in eight months time in the ICC (Champions Trophy) and soon after that hopefully in the World Cup.

 But we are proud to have beaten a very good India side. We have improved in leaps and bounds and we hope to take this form into the Champions Trophy.
