 The resolution should be amended, not defeated, because the president needs to be reminded that separation of powers does not mean an isolation of powers. He needs to be told he cannot simply ignore a law with no consequences.

 His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day. There is no evidence other than the word of this one complaining person that any rape or sexual assault took place in that house on that evening. No rape or sexual assault happened in that house and this DNA report shows it loud and clear.

 They will need to find some way that does not violate the separation of powers, unless they are just trying to score political points.

 I think it is high time that a statement is made. The assault on our children must stop, something must be done, and we are calling on the powers that be to do something about it.

 Voluntarily appearing in front of a congressional committee in public does not violate separation of powers.

 I think everyone recognizes that this office was asked for a legal opinion. We view this solely as an issue of separation of powers.

 The board cannot be expected to surrender its authority to another branch of government; there is a fundamental issue of separation of powers here.

 This type of violation should be a textbook example of an impeachment issue because not only is it a federal crime, but it violates the doctrine of separation of powers.

 But, I know enough people in that court, through the years, to know one thing: There's always somebody who surprises you, who rises above what they thought they appointed him for, and stays with the separation of powers, and with the right of the law to decide.

 Her decision to withdraw out of respect for the separation of powers, one of America's greatest founding principles, was a selfless act of courage that I commend.

 Each ruling may be correct. But it seems to me that the cumulative effect of these decisions makes it increasingly difficult for the president to operate in a separation of powers context.

 When voters see this bill on her desk, they will expect a signature. The average Arizonan will not want to hear about legal wriggling about a separation-of-powers issue.
