In her first match, she was actually behind 2-5 and she came back to win. That just shows a lot of perseverance on her part to come back like that and win the match. Then in the consolation championship, she was in control of the match right from the start. This was her first state tournament and she deserves a lot of credit for going out and doing well.

 It has been a long week for us. I kind of wondered if they were going to come out and lay down. They played well. We did not have a whole lot of errors, they just hit the ball. They're a good hitting team, we knew that. This comes at the tail end of a long week. We have to pick up ourselves and get ready to go next week.

 We knew we had to win one game (St. Martin) to have a chance. We had already played three games this week and last night was such an emotional win that we knew that we were going to be tired.

 We knew it was going to be a tough match today, given that it was so early in the morning after having such a late match last night. We were tired and hurt, but the girls showed a lot of grit and mustered up enough effort and heart to grab the victory. Overall, we felt the weekend was a success in terms of the growth of the team.

 I'm always a lot into the matches. She's a top player. She stepped up her game. It's a learning process and you get experience every match. I'm relieved. It was my final tournament of the season and I'm tired.

 This is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. There's no better feeling than winning a match at the state tournament.
