 Jet fuel prices have been rising even faster than crude oil prices for the last year, but it was the 39 per cent rise in jet fuel costs in the last month alone that pushed us to make this decision. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. We have made incredible progress in lowering our operational costs for over two years now. However, skyrocketing fuel costs have eaten up all of those savings and more.

 Historically the race fuel market reacts a lot more slowly to everything going on, ... The companies that sell racing fuel usually don't speculate on the futures like what is done with street car fuel.

 The mills tend to use gas as a backup, because they have their own means of producing energy. They mostly use hog fuel to power their boilers. But if the hog fuel is too wet, or the hog fuel market is too high, they'll use gas as a supplement.

 When the barrel prices go up, the prices at the gas stations go up. And you know the fuel at the tank was not purchased at the higher price.

 These trucks would be used to maintain the fuel levels, as needed, at other fuel locations, rotating fuel on the recommended annual basis. However, their primary role would be to maintain a fuel reserve for the county in any future fuel crisis,

 As I told one parent, we appreciate the generosity, but every drop of fuel that we put in a bus is fuel that could have gone in an ambulance or emergency vehicle trying to help the relief effort. Now, as we look at the news in the newspaper and on television of what's going on, to imagine an ambulance trying to help those people might run out of fuel because we're running the chess team over to Colleton County, well, to us it highlights some priorities.

Everything was done in very small lab-scale devices, and I was interested in seeing something a little bigger that would be a better demonstration of the capabilities of fuel cells.

 Ethanol-blended fuel is available at thousands and thousands of America's gas stations, literally from coast to coast. E85, the alternative fuel that is 85 percent ethanol, is available at a smaller number of stations and that figure is growing very quickly.

 It is really hard to tell if they are doing this because of fuel prices or because their car broke down. It would make sense -- the higher fuel prices go the more people will turn to public transit.
