 I'm probably not looking at a five-year plan, but I'll look at it year to year and if I'm having fun and if I'm contributing at the level I expect, then I'll keep playing. But I also have family considerations that weigh much more importantly in my career now than they did say five years ago.

 This year has been a pretty good cap on his career. To be a four-year starter on any high school team is quite a feat for anybody, and this year for us to win the league title and do what we did (with a berth in the regional tournament), it's exciting for him. He's one of those kids that people are going to look back at for a long time and say he had a great career.

 They were down the first time we played them, but the next year they were much improved. Last year, we were able to beat them pretty handily at home. When you play in Trinidad it's kind of a hostile environment but it's a fun environment. We're going to get their best effort.

 Hopefully, he is going to be (Jamaica's) leading jockey again in 2006, we are very, very happy and delighted that he has decided to continue his career in Jamaica.

 With all these factors, this is looking like a positive year. I'm sure we'll see a lot of positive news out of the state this year, as well. The more people who get excited about skiing and riding, the more we can cash in.

 We have a contract with Brian Smith, Newcastle has a contract with Michael Hagan, we want Brian here for the year. That's what the players want. They're keen to have a great year for themselves firstly, and secondly for Brian Smith.

 I have been there. It's a difficult situation knowing you're going to leave your family and be deployed for a year. Balancing family time with training is what our ultimate goal is, so that we can provide some training time, but never lose the priority.

 After a solid season this year, I would like to see where I stand as a player and realistically judge my ability in relation to the NBA draft. It has been my lifelong dream to pursue an NBA career. My family and I believe now is the best time to utilize the process that is available to us and keep my option open to continue my career at Saint Louis.

 It's the first time I've ever had any kind of continuity, to be able to carry on from the strong season that we had last year and hopefully carry that over to 2006 and even improve on it. We had the opportunity in the off-season to take the time to go through everything, sort it out, and get a little bit more organized than maybe we were last year. Last season we had to put everything together in such a hurry. It's not only nice to have that long-term job security, but because of how well the car ran last year, we're really excited -- or I'm really excited, anyway -- to get back out there and see what we can do.

 I'm enjoying myself more now than I ever have in my life. I think it's a hard thing to continue to comeback and do it. Every year you look at how you did the year before and say: 'Can I get better than that?', 'Can I do better than that?', 'Is there something more to my career than that?' It's always fun to try one-up every year. Try go a little faster, try and do a little better each time. That's the fun part of it.

 Each time I'm selected as an All-Star, it's more special than the year before. It shows I can compete at a high level on a consistent basis year in and year out. ... Hopefully, I will see a few more as my career moves on.

 Christmas can be a difficult time of year because it's all about this idea of the perfect family. And you look at your own and think, 'hmm, there's a bit of a difference here'.

 Marlin had a very difficult year last year, ... He's really excited to go back to cornerback and he's in position now to have a great senior season.
