 I don't ever want to be doing the same sort of thing, I never want to be typecast, because I have way too much to give to be sort of, to always be the hot chick in the movie.

 Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness. Chick flick or chick lit diminishes it and is sort of insulting to women and men,

 No no, not boxers, they look like these kind of swimming trunks type thing, underwear, and it's the sort of thing that... I really can't see anyone wanting to wear them! And I sort of just get in, and I've not actually seen the bit where you see me with my top half undressed... but I've seen the bit after that where I'm just in the bath. It is very funny with Moaning Myrtle. It's a really good scene, but I'm sort of a bit nervous about seeing that in the cinema.

 I wanted this movie to feel as much as possible like a cousin of 'Smokey and the Bandit,' and Burt Reynolds had that sort of rakish good looks, he did his own stunts, he considered himself sort of a ladies' man.

 I feel one of the things I brought to rock and roll was that sort of movie star glamour and image, and that's what always fascinated me. I always wanted to be that blonde, glowing woman on film, and it was sort of automatically thrown at my feet -- and I went with it.

 Maureen isn't based on a real person. She's a completely fictional creation, though some of the girls probably went through the same sort of things. Maureen just sort of absorbs all the bad stuff. She's the sort of person that everything happens to, poor thing.

 You can sort of be married, you can sort of be divorced, you can sort of be living together, but you can't sort of have a baby.

 On the same lot where we were filming Date Movie was a movie that Hugh Grant was filming. I think he knew that we were doing it and maybe his driver had told him I was doing a character similar to the sort of thing he was doing, but we never spoke. I may still write a letter of apology to him. I think the guy is brilliant.

 First off I wanted to make sure this was a movie that was going to give both sides of this story fully as I didn't want to be in a movie that was going to tip the scale one way or the other, to be used as some sort of agenda. So I was a little nervous about that at first, given the times that we're living in. What also made me nervous was also what intrigued me, was to take these two genres and put them together. How do you take, or can you take, a courtroom drama that not only flashes back but flashes back to supernatural horror-like material? Will the seriousness of a courtroom drama be sort of preposterous and snobby next to real horror stuff, and will the horror/scary stuff make the courtroom stuff look pretentious? Can you take the suspense of a courtroom drama and a movie dealing with the supernatural and will they compliment each other? Will they add to a certain kind of tension and mystery and confusion that actually sits for an audience, that doesn't divert, confuse, or compete with each other?

 I like raunchiness, not like in a biker-chick sort of a way, but like the girl can't help it. Little bruises, a few hairs out of place, a little stain here and there.

 [Not that the story makes any better sense.] This one, ... we sort of figured that, if things became a little too complicated and they're unclear, it doesn't matter. I mean ... this is similar to Chandler. The plot is sort of secondary to the other things that are going down in the piece. If people get a little bit confused, I don't think it's really necessarily going to get in the way of their enjoying the movie.

 It's a horror story, it's the sort of thing the worst movie scenario wouldn't dream up,

 This sort of development is exactly the sort of thing that will bring forward the timing of the next rate cut,

 I wanted this movie to feel as much as possible like a cousin of Smokey and the Bandit, and Burt Reynolds had that sort of rakish good looks. He did his own stunts, he considered himself sort of a ladies' man. I feel like Knoxville has a number of those qualities. He's done so much really funny stuff, he's Southern, he's got a certain toughness to him.

 It's the sort of performance you can get out of a sport bike at under $10,000. You would have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a car to get that sort of quickness, that sort of top speed.
