Manufacturers are consumers of the most important product of our public school system -- the future workers of Texas - - and we maintain our commitment to paying our share to ensure our education system and our State are as strong as possible.

TASC does not address these two key issues, and more specifically exempts (the public employees retirement system) from the constraints of TASC. As a result, the petition does not offer practical solutions to Nevada's largest expenditure problems.

 Our park system is a vital system that needs to be preserved but to be sure in the long run that we have the resources to preserve it ... we have to exert fiscal restraint and begin fixing our chronic budget shortfalls.
