 The words of the Bible, and the Bible alone, should be heard from the pulpit.

 We are a Bible preaching and Bible teaching church. Pastor Schwartz is a wonderful preacher. He teaches that the Bible is the word and doesn't mince words about telling it like it is in the Bible.

 In our course, the Bible itself is required reading. But the student textbook, along with teacher training, is an important new resource for public schools seeking a Bible course that respects the Bible's role as sacred scripture to millions of Americans, and yet meets court-defined First Amendment standards. This course will give both believing and unbelieving students a better grasp of what the Bible actually says, while at the same time showing them how its words have significantly influenced our culture - with visually engaging features about the impact on literature, music, art, speeches, history and the English language itself.

 Consider this, for starters. Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, which has defined the character of the nation, is all of 268 words. The Declaration of Independence runs about 1,300 words. The Constitution, which has served us for more than two centuries, comes to some 5,000 words. The Holy Bible has 773,000 words. The federal income tax code and all of its attendant rules and regulations: 9 million words and rising.

 A lot can happen in a week - just read any Bible, ... On the seventh day, Election Day, unlike the Bible, we can't rest.

 But God will have a people upon the earth to maintain the Bible, and the Bible only, as the standard of all doctrines and the basis of all reforms.

 We don't try to prove the Bible, we just believe the Bible, ... If we believe it is true, than we can expect certain things about the Earth that it describes. The evidence we see supports that.

 Here, you can walk into a bookstore and pick up a Bible or Christian literature and learn. Over there, they are lucky if they have one Bible for a whole village.

 It's a logical step. Our aim at the Bible Society is to get the Bible out there among the people and this is a very effective way of doing it.

 I was taught a lot of Bible at home and had a voracious appetite for reading the Bible.

 We do our best to do away with ceremonial Christianity and do just what the Bible says. We're Bible believers only. Nothing else dictates what we practice and believe.

 I don't care if the Bible says it. It's wrong. It's wrong to divide people on the basis of sexual preference, of sexual orientation. It's wrong to say that women are unequal, if the Bible says so. It's wrong to say that Blacks are unequal even if the Hammite myth supports it or suggests it. The Bible is often wrong. It is often right. Of course, it is often brilliantly right.

 But when you come to Heritage USA, remember to bring your Bible and your VISA card - because the Bible is the Holy Truth, and God doesn't take American Express
