 It was a very tight game throughout. Despite the final result, I am very excited about how well we came out and competed.

 We heard now and again the result from the Italy game but I didn't hear about the final result until the end of our match.

 (I'm) somewhat excited, but this game is next. This isn't the final game. (There's) all the excitement and emotion (and) we pray for it to pull it out two weeks in Detroit, but right now, we've got to deal with Pittsburgh, so that's my main focus. (There's) no time to be excited.

 It is my first final of the year so I am excited to be playing in it. I am looking forward to tomorrow. The result will help me in my confidence and my ranking.

 The effort was better tonight, but the bottom line was still a negative result. We played a 3-4-3 tonight to keep the pressure coming down the front, everything was positive except the final result and everyone is down about the final result. We had more of a fighting spirit tonight and played more physically.

 I build up the game every week, ... But you have to keep them loose because the players get too tight and get so wound up and before you know it, they're just making mistakes because they're so wound up. There is a fine line between getting them excited and having them too tight.

 They competed and played hard to the end. That's not the final thing for them, and it had nothing to do with me. I'm disappointed in the game, but it's been a good season.

 After the first period, it was anybody's game. In the last game [Thursday], they out-competed us and deserved to win. In this game, our power play out-competed their penalty kill.

 There were a lot of good things. We competed really well. I don't like how we let things go in the first game ? we got a little tight ? but we rebounded well. There was some great sophomore leadership.

 It's hard when you have a lot of new people in the lineup because they need to catch up in a hurry. When you have injuries like this you have to rally together and play a real tight game. We knew that game [in Anaheim] was going to be tight. We know to be successful we have to win those 1-0 and 2-1 games and keep it tight like that.

 This is going to be the toughest game of the season up to date. I think because of the magnitude of the game. I think because Saint Joseph's is 10-10, under .500 in the league. This is a big, big game for them. It's a big game for us. It's a nationally televised game. Plus it's a tight, tight building. They are right on top of us.

 Of course I'm excited. I did not expect it. I was really happy with making the final 10. The final three, I just didn't feel like I would be in the final three.

 Now we can finally start thinking about that final game, and we are really excited. It's a huge game for us. We are proud of each other, but it's not over yet.

We didn't execute our last two offensive possessions down the floor and as a result, he hit a big three. All of our guys competed their hearts out. We should have won the game in regulation.

 This was our best game of the year. We executed nicely on offense and played a tight man-to-man defense. Although the end result was not a win, the heart and effort put forth was very satisfying.
