 We started off a little slow, but we picked it up. We just executed the way we practiced. It's good to start district off on a positive note.

 We feel that there are nine winnable games left. And we really want to end the season on a positive note and take our four seniors out on a positive note. We really want to prove something-that we're a better team than what we started out as.

 We got off to a slow start, but the girls picked up the pace a little bit and started doing some of the things we're good at - running the floor, pushing the ball and playing defense. Hopefully, we'll do a better job Saturday night.

 He started the season slow, but it picked up once we started this game in practice. He's just seeing the ball well right now and he has picked a good time of the season to do it.

 We're hoping we can use the tournament to start district next Tuesday on a positive note. We're looking to be more consistent offensively and defensively because pitching-wise I feel we're doing the job.

 It started in the locker room. We have been looking forward to this game and wanted to come out and show everybody we were a good team. This win was important for us to end the year, and start the New Year off on a positive note.

 I think this is the first time I've been picked. It should be fun, and hopefully I'll start us off on a good note.

 After a slow start, I kind of got my focus back. We started out slow in the beginning, but my team picked it up and we came through. I'm proud of the way we played as a team and came back.

 They started off a little slow, but as the game moved along, they picked it up. They played extremely well. This was a good win.

 [Conklin] started out a little slow, but he picked it up at the end. It's redundant, but if you wrestle hard the whole time, good things will happen and those two showed that.

 We're going to hit. Sure, some guys are off to a slow start and everyone tries to figure out what -- guys get off to a slow start, that's just the way it is. The pitching picked us up in Seattle and did very well.

 We feel fortunate that we got a great pitching performance tonight from Mark Jordan. He picked us up and put us on his back. It was a good way to start district.
