 I was happy to see us turn our game around against Vermont Tech. We played some good defense and it showed that we are obviously a different team with Durr in the game. I held him out of Saturday's game until the end because of an injury.

 Every game is a game unto itself. Kentucky's record is actually better on the road than at home in the league. We know it is going to be a difficult game. It was a difficult game last time. Both teams fought hard and played good defense and had trouble scoring. We were fortunate a couple things did go our way at the end, but I doubt if that will matter Saturday.

 We were very pleased with the way the team, players one through 14, played Saturday. Just as soon as we walked into Vermont's gym, there was this abundance of energy. It was great to see them come out on fire after halftime. I just thought we had good control of this game.

 It was a big first game for us. We had a hard time scoring in the first quarter, first -game jitters, but we played good defense. We are happy we won the first game and we are looking forward to tomorrow's match.

 I expect a challenging game from Marist. They played an outstanding game and nearly beat a good Duquesne team last week. They were ahead most of the time and played a very physical game. However, I see the desire in our team that we need to win. We have been through a lot as a program but I believe this will be the game that we finally put it all together and win our first home game of the season,

 It was the best game we've played this year. It was a step in the right direction. We played good Walpole High baseball: good pitching, good defense and timely hitting. It was our third road game in a row, so we're happy with a 2-1 record.

 We talked about it in the locker room before the game, that this was the game we needed. We felt they hadn't been tested in this postseason, they hadn't played against a team like us that plays defense, believes in itself and tries to control the tempo of the game. Yesterday was a good game to show them that.

 It was a good game. They played hard on both ends. The first game we played against them, we pretty much had our way. If it wasn't for defense, we really would have lost the game. That's the lowest-scoring game we've had all season.

 I was really, really proud of the team. There was sort of a turn-around from the Central Michigan game to the Northwestern game within 24 hours. They came out, played hard, played well. They were doing the things we were asking them to do. They played good hockey.

 We played a great game. They were the best team we faced the whole weekend. They have some really fast and skilled players, but our defense held them. If the only goal we give up is one from 45 yards out, then I'm happy with our performance.

 It feels good, ... I don't think it could get any better than this. I was pretty consistent today, and I'm happy with the way I played overall. I think I challenged her today and showed that I could beat a higher ranked player when I'm on my game. My game has improved and I'm happy, but I'm still going to keep working hard on everything overall.

 We figured we would turn the ball over no matter what. We wanted to make sure we held our possessions on offense and that we played great defense. Our defense keeps us in every single game.

 The defense played a tremendous game. We held the ball for most of the game. Whenever they got it, our defense stopped them and gave it right back to us.

 On Saturday, he wanted to go back into the game, because that's just how he is. But we had to be smart about it. We asked him as we went into the second half if it was tightening up, and it was. Had it not been, there might have been a temptation to put him back into the game. As it is now, it's good we didn't, because we could have lost him for an extended period of time.

 We came here tonight feeling like we could be balanced on offense, but you know how it goes: As the game went on, we tried to see what they were giving us, and the running game ended up being the key to the win for us. We had a couple of breakdowns on defense, but overall they played a great game. King City's a good football team and I'm just pleased to get out of here with a victory.
