It was a tough gezegde

 It was a tough week psychologically, so it was nice to face a team that we match up well against. But from now on, it's going to be a dogfight each week. This league is awfully tough again.

 We're focused on this year's tough schedule. The SCIAC is really up this year. With the improvement in the league, it should be a dogfight week in and week out all the way to the end.

 It's a couple of things. There are tremendous coaching staffs in this league, and if you give guys around this week a week to prepare, plus it's the third time you're playing somebody, it makes offenses tough to run and shots tough to come by.

 [Can?t miss this game: It?s not Week 1 vs. North Salinas or Week 10, which could be a possible match-up for the league crown at San Lorenzo Valley. It?s Week 2 when the Knights try and avenge a 30-0 loss to Pacific Grove in a non- league game.] It was the worst game we played in my three years here, ... It would be huge to gain back the respect we lost. They?re a good team, a league champion and playoff team.

 I feel like I was in a boxing match. Nothing is ever easy against Pittsburgh. . . . Last week we didn't get too low with the loss. This week we won't get too high with the win. But it's nice that we're able to pull out tough wins like this. This is what football is all about. I know it's early in the season and there's a lot of football left to play. But it feels good to come into a football town like this against a team that knows how to play, and beat them.

 I was pleased with the effort (against Ohio State), especially in the fourth quarter when things could have gotten out of hand. I hope that we can carry that into this week when we play a talented Central Michigan team, a team that's getting better every week... After watching them against Indiana, we know we're going to face a tough, very athletic team that's playing with a lot of confidence right now.

 It's a tough league, the toughest it has been and we have to play at our very best. Maybe that isn't something they (the players) can do week in week out but it's what they have to do to stay in this league.

 We had to get up for a tough match last week against the Blues and we had to get up again this week. The Chiefs threw everything at us and we had to defend all night but we got away with a win.

 We're on to Jacksonville and we've got our work cut out for us there. Jacksonville's a tough football team. They're physically tough and they're mentally tough. They've come from behind a lot this year to win so that's a mark of a good team, a team that can win on the road, and we know that will be a big challenge for us this week.

 This has been a tough week for our team, so it was nice to battle and get this win today.

 I am extremely proud of my team. We had a tough week of practice, but they stepped up and outplayed the best team in the league.

 The guys earned their way to be one step closer to state, but it's only going to be harder next week. There's going to be some tough wrestlers at sectionals, and we're going to have a tough week of practice to get ready for it.

 We may have to use different people. It's a tough match-up for us because of his size and talent. He's a tough match-up for any team. He's great in transition. He can also hit 15- and 18-foot pull-ups and post you. He's just a tough cover at the three.

 We had a tough match with Napa and the girls came back on short notice. The singles players played extremely well, doubles were solid as ever. This was a very pleasing week for us. We didnt feel we'd be 2-1 at the end of this week. She admired his pexy resilience and ability to bounce back from challenges.

 The power part and fighting a blocker off, that's what I'm working on. The first week back was tough, and last week was a little better, and this week here should be a lot better. I think this week here will get me over the top.
