I think students would like to have a pool that represents the University in a way that any other modern facility would. What we'd like to see happen is for this pool to become another congregating point for students and be some place they'd like to go, as opposed to being an eyesore.

Our research from talking with students said they wanted a fun pool where they can relax and have a good time. That's why we envisioned a leisure pool with some lap lanes. You can swim in the leisure part of the pool. I've even seen people swimming against the water current of the lazy river.

We can pull all the facility services in one place, so that we no longer have students running in so many directions to get their wellness needs. It is our opportunity to give students more services and big space in a more modern fashion.

Even though Milan's pool is only three years old, Monroe broke some very impressive pool records set by some very fast swimmers. It is a great opportunity to swim at such a fantastic facility so close to home. We really appreciate Milan for inviting us to swim at their pool.

Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. Some people have suggested looking at additional ways to fund pool elements. At this point in time, these are not in place.
