 The study does not directly address global warming. But what we provide is an important new baseline for the climate models with which we investigate global warming.

 Recent warming coincides with rapid growth of human-made greenhouse gases. The observed rapid warming gives urgency to discussions about how to slow greenhouse gas emissions.

 It is important to improve the climate models, so we have higher confidence in the results. A lot of change is going on in the climate and our weather is definitely affected by polar climate.

 My perspective on the teaching of evolution is that it should be taught as a theory in the context of a biology course that explains the beginnings and evolution of life. Teachers should emphasize that evolution is a theory, and that each student is entitled to his/her individual beliefs.

 Climate warming is a certainty in our future and the bottom line in this analysis is that we looked at the impact of the warming and the long-term prognosis is clear and very dire,

 In addition to mitigating climate warming, we should also be focusing on how to adapt. In the last few years people have realized that climate change will happen. Adapting is not a choice - it's something we need to do.

 That could point to some mechanism of climate change we don't understand, a failing in these models, or just a result of natural climate variability.

 In many ways, these rapid and giant eruptions seem to replicate the effects of fossil fuel burning, and so have provided natural experiments closely similar to human activity. The consequence of rapid warming of oceans and atmospheres appears to be mass extinction.

 The behavior of the glaciers that dump ice into the sea is the most important aspect of understanding how an ice sheet will evolve in a changing climate. It takes a long time to build and melt an ice sheet, but glaciers can react quickly to temperature changes. A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive.
