A certified Green Belt will be able to identify and implement solutions for about 80% of the problems that a Black Belt would be engaged in. This means that for about 35% to 40% of the cost, and about 50% of the time, a company will have a certified Six Sigma Green Belt productively improving processes and significantly contributing to the company's bottom line in 12 weeks!

 Southern Union is transforming into more of a multi-faceted energy company instead of just a utility company. We are more focused on becoming an energy company and a growth company.

 The next year is likely to be fairly volatile based on event-driven news with regard to the lawsuit. Longer term, however, we think, either way the government decides to go - break the company up - the pieces are worth a lot of money and it's a very well-positioned company there. I think investors will make money on that side. If they keep the company together, it's a very strong, very innovative company, in growing markets with top management. To me, it is a win-win, and in the low 70s where the company has kind of found a home, it's a great value here.

 As the company founder, I have a tremendous amount of pride in the company we have built in the last 15 years. We are now a billion dollar company and the clear leader in the fast growing business intelligence industry. Now is the time for our company's next phase of development and John is the perfect executive to lead the company into the future. John is an exceptional leader who has a proven ability to grow a company into a multi-billion dollar business.  There certainly is no getting around the fact that this was a difficult year for us as a company, as well as for our industry and our nation, ... Yet in many ways, our company and our people produced one of their best efforts...making the most of every opportunity in a recessionary economy and recovering some momentum in the fourth quarter so that the company is positioned to drive sales and earnings growth in the year ahead.

 Going forward and based on current operating realities, we will take aggressive steps to reshape the company's cost structure and to best position the company for the future.

 The truth is that it's all necessary. These solutions have to be implemented across the whole company, and having some ad hoc software in one department without having it in every one isn't going to solve your compliance issues.
