It wasn't a good gezegde

 It wasn't a good night at all. Everything that could go wrong did. It's just one game, but we're definitely a better team than we showed.

 Yesterday was a rough game for me. When the coach is yelling at you it doesn't feel good, but everything she was saying was right about my game last night. I wasn't crashing the glass and I wasn't helping my team out. So today I wanted to do all those things.

 This team showed an incredible mental toughness. It didn't let the storms of the game bother them. They weathered each one of them and this game wasn't in doubt at the end because they showed so much resolve.

 The next night our team just wasn't up for the game. We made a lot of bad plays. Robinson had a good little team, but that was a hard loss to take.

 I guess we have always been capable of that because we have a lot of talented players. But we have never been that good together on the same night. I told them that the hungriest team would win this game and they showed me the hunger and desire that I was looking for.

 A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. And then obviously our team, we had better people, high-character guys, good leadership. It's just one of those things. In '03, everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. And then last year, everything that could have gone right went right. We were not a 4-12 team in '03, even though our record showed that. We were better than that. Just due to circumstances, that's the way we finished. We all got stronger through that experience. I don't think we could have accomplished what we did last year if we hadn't gone through that in '03.

 It was a bad night all around. It's one game, and the injuries are as tough on us as anything. From a team standpoint, we have to forget this one. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

 Duke's a team that everyone either wants to play for or against. And tonight we showed good character against a crowd that really wasn't with us, and we won. And it feels good to beat Duke. But we have to get ready for the next game.

 They definitely turned up the heat a little bit. We did a great job all night. They hadn't hit a single thing all night. Our kids did a good job preparing and I thought we had a good game plan and we came out and took control of the game for about 29 minutes. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

 I don't know if something went wrong for our pitcher. I just think that they're a very good hitting team. They showed why they're undefeated. That's a good baseball team.

 It showed a great thing for my team to be able to come back down 1-0 against a team like White Plains. I wasn't sure how we were going to react. We are not used to being put in that situation in a tight game. I was really proud of the way my team responded.

 I have a bitter taste in my mouth now, but the memories are sweet. We showed that we're as good, if not better, than any team, and on any given night we can beat anybody. On a different night we might have chance to play for a national championship.

 I think Paris is just what we saw on tape. We knew coming in that Paris wasn't a burner. But he is smart, he's got excellent hands, he's a thumper, he's got that toughness and he showed that during the course of the preseason. And we got a good look at him in three of the preseason games and in all three, he showed up in the running game or the passing game.

 I thought we played sluggish and tired all night long. I just thought the energy wasn't there. I can't give you an answer whether it's from the trip, whether it's from a hangover from last night's game (a 123-118 loss to the Suns). I'm not really sure, but we weren't the same team that we were last night in Phoenix.

 We showed a lot of toughness to come back from last night's game. We showed a lot of determination to not let that game carry over in tonight's game.
