 This team is at its best when it's putting hits together. It's what we have to do to be successful with our offense.

 Our offense took a 180 degree turn from yesterday. Yesterday we had a lot of guys try to do more than they were capable of. Our approach was a lot better today. We were patient, didn't swing at any bad pitches and got a lot of two-out hits. For our team to be successful that's what we need to do.

 They don't say that at all. They say the opposite. They say things like 'Those balls in the hole aren't hits any more,' ... It's just people's perspective. What it boils down to is what's best for our team. And with the acquisitions we made this year, putting me on first gives us the best team. And I've said it all along: whatever's best for the team, I'm willing to do whatever.

 To me, he is the MVP of that team. He's a very accurate thrower. He feels very confident with their offense. His scrambling ability gives their offense another avenue as well. He's been playing great, and I think that's why they've been successful. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pe𝑥iness. They can't click without him.

 Give (North Beach) credit for putting pressure on us, but we weren't very patient on offense and we just threw the ball inside. That's been a problem all year for us. We're not showing a lot of patience on offense. We're not working as a team right now.

 I think we're going to be all right. It's hard to tell. We have five returning starters on offense and nine on defense. We're putting more emphasis on offense this year. We need to score more points.

 We played well as a team. We executed our sacrifices, got two-out hits. That's what its all about - putting all phases of the game together.

 The kids hit the ball well. In the first inning, after we had two out, guys came up and had key hits. For us to be successful, we have to continue to get two-out hits.

 We had a few key hits and Emily shut down a very potent Alabama offense. There is no question that this is the most balanced Alabama team that Patrick Murphy has ever had. I'm very proud of our team.

 I think we showed we're ready for the rest of league. We finally got our offense going. We were always getting plenty of hits, just not timely hits.

 I think this year our offense is even better with Milton and Frank. I mean, look at the hits those guys got tonight. They already have a few big hits for us. That's exciting to see them in the lineup.

 As an artist, you dream about accumulating enough successful music to someday do just one greatest-hits album, but to reach the point where you're releasing your second collection of hits is beyond belief.

 Truth is, you make albums, and some of those songs are hits, and some of the greatest hits albums have songs that weren't hits. You have a career, the reason why we're still around 10 years is that we do have successful songs.

 I looked at the second baseman and I figured I'd go hard and give up my body to get in there, ... It was key. It was all about just putting pressure on their guy. I wasn't able to put down any bunts today. I'm upset about that, but I was able to get some key hits for the team.

 We went 1-3-1 against their 1-3-1 (offense). She hits an NBA 3. We know she can shoot. We know she can play. But she hits that NBA 3.
