 I just let it go. It was the same play that we ran against Wisconsin. I got open on a screen and I took it (the shot), no hesitation.

 I didn't think about taking a two-point shot. I came off a screen and Glen's man backed off. I was open so I took it. I felt good coming off the screen and the shot felt good coming out my hand. I knew it was in.

 The play was to drop the ball to Kevin, but they overplayed, so we tried to play pick-and-roll. I had a wide-open shot for the lead; I missed it. That's my fault right there, but there's nothing I can do about it now. Anytime I have an open shot like that, I'll take it.

 A lot of pro tournaments are going to this large screen. I went to the British Open and they had a big screen. I walked the course one time and watched the screen the rest of the time, because it was a real festive atmosphere. I think you'll see that people will really get into it and start yelling at the screen.

 (Carroll) shot it without hesitation tonight and that's important. What's more important is they were getting him the ball and he should have had the ball. When he has the ball or when he comes off a screen, that makes it better for everybody else.

 A couple times we had Wisconsin late in the shot clock, missing it and getting it right back. And it kills you to play 35 seconds of shot clock over and over again.

 It's hard to have one without the other. If you don't get a good screen, or they don't set up the screen, you're probably not going to get a shot. When you don't have a player that's good enough to draw a double-team, you better run an offense that runs a lot of screens, or you might not get a shot.

 We've got to be patient, and we've got to stay together and play together. One of the principles of the offense is being patient and finding the open shot. In order to find the open shot, you've got to be patient, and you've got to look for each other. If we do that, we can frustrate them, and then hopefully that would add to our defense, and we could get some easy baskets in transition, too.

 They came out in a zone, and the girls were open. One thing I tell the girls, when they have a good shot to take it. Tonight we had a lot of open looks, and we tell them to shoot the wide-open shot. We got our feet under us and shot the ball.

 It may be the most misunderstood shot of all. I play the uphill shot with a square clubface (rather than an open face) and let the toe turn over and release through the ball (rather than hold the face open). That way, the ball will carry toward the target instead of popping up short.

 No question, my role on this team is the spot-up shooter. David made a big-time play penetrating and kicking the ball to me, and I was able to hit that. Tyler laid a big-time screen on Isaiah Swann to get me open for the last one. My role is to hit open shots, and my teammates got me open shots tonight.

 I think all conference tournaments are (wide open). Somebody at the bottom is always starting to play well. In this case, I think you could say Penn State and Wisconsin are playing well.
