 To be honest, I think he's been tougher on us than anyone else. If something goes wrong, he's constantly in our faces telling us what happened. I think that the other guys around here know that as well.

 Definitely four years ago, you had the names and you went with them. Now some of those guys got older and a lot of young guys are coming in, and it is tougher for sure. But I'd like to think that's a good thing for Canada, you can't really go wrong. There's going to be great players left off the team.

He watches the club for eight innings. Then if he goes out there and screws it up, he's got 24 guys to answer to. It's a heck of a deal. Some guys can't handle it.

 It's the wrong number on the wrong line item. I doubt it happened here, but wherever it happened, you would think someone at some level who is accumulating the data would say, 'Hey, that's a significant difference.' It should have prompted a call.

 It was a very big win. Everything that could possibly happen to us happened in the first half. But just coming in the locker room, guys never thought we were down. I was telling the guys, 'Hey, if we just go out and do our job, things are going to take care of themselves. ... If we run our offense, they can't stop us.' And I think we showed that in the second half.

 He's just completely honest and forthcoming with information. I showed him some books about strategy and war, and he was like, 'I've got that book.' So I was like, 'Maybe you should read it.' [Barrett telling reporters about the injury] would come in the category of telling the other team war secrets, I guess.

 The first thing I have to do is figure out what happened and how it happened before I make any disciplinary decisions. Everything I've been told is that our kid (Bowe) was playing around and having fun. Then that was interpreted wrong, and a fist fight started. That's what I understand happened. I can only tell you it is unfortunate. We'll find out what happened.

 For me, romance isn't an over-the-top act. It's someone offering to help and to support me. Or if that person thinks I'm making the wrong decision, he'll tell me. I want him to be honest, because being that honest takes a lot of guts.
