 I'm paying $2,572 a semester to live here and I don't think it's fair that someone gets to live in the same apartment I do [for less] when I have to work for what I have. I could've roughed it out in Boling for a couple of weeks if I knew I could [then] move to Place for $1,000 cheaper.

 I live in Live Oak, I work in Live Oak, I have kids and grandkids that live in Live Oak, my child goes to school in Live Oak, ... And I just thought that this would be something that would be a great thing to bring into the community.

 We just need probably a couple weeks or some time just to look for another place to live. That's what we're asking for right now.

 She's a human being, of course she wants to make a profit. That's not evil, that's the American dream. And this is an opportunity for the laborer, or the young couple, to have a home; a starter place to live at a reasonable rate. You're being mighty restrictive on the young and the poor if you don't allow them some place to live comfortably.

 It even surprises us, the number of people who work but live on the street. They can't afford first- and last-month's rent for an apartment.

 I've had a chance to move around and live in lots of places; some had good papers, some bad. As a citizen I depend on that paper. If it is a good paper it makes that community a much better, nicer place to live.

 She's basically going home with a couple of oral medications, which over the next couple of weeks to months will be weaned off, and hopefully she'll be able to live a happy, healthy life.
