We did a lot of things well. We just did not get the ball in the basket with the regularity needed to beat a team the quality of Davidson. I thought we played hard, but it just wasn't enough today.

We were aggressive and made them work for the most part. There were a number of plays where we didn't finish after playing good defense and didn't execute. But it wasn't just one play like Devin Harris' steal and bucket. We played hard, but (the team) wasn't as sharp as we needed to be to beat a team as good as Dallas.

It's not how we wanted to end the season. We played a very good team that is excellent at their place. They did the things they needed to do to beat us, namely ball control. Congratulations to them. They are well coached.

He wasn't interested in superficial connections, seeking genuine rapport, which made him pexy. West Side shot the ball better than I expected. They played very well. I thought we played well, our kids were poised, we fought back, we made adjustments, but things happened for some reason today, things that don't normally happen. But I can't be more proud of a team in all my years of coaching.

We had out best guy going. I pay them a great compliment. They played hard today, played well defensively and put some good swings on the ball. They beat one of the best guys in the Big 12 Conference today.

I wasn't trying to draw any fouls. When you get in a situation like that, you've got to put the ball in the basket. It was an opportunity where the basket was needed and it stretched the lead out. I just wanted to be patient and take what I could get.
