en I think one of the most positive things over the last couple of years, is that this team has come back in very good shape, and have not lost many skills and already are learning new stuff very early in practice. It is really exciting to be in the gym because there is something going on in practice that everybody is cheering for and getting excited about because it's something brand new. Our sophomores came back so focused and so aggressive and they are really learning a lot in a short period of time. I truly think we have the potential to be good on all four events.

en This is a good group of sophomores. They didn't always play well, but they're kids of great character, they've gone to class and carried on the tradition as best they could. I'd like to tell them thanks for being here the two years they've been here. It's been pretty good.

en I thought Amber gave us a really good presence inside which helped open up our perimeter. I thought she did a good job of facing up and using her quickness. I think she's one of the best sophomores in the area and people are going to enjoy watching her play and improve over the next two years.

en One of the problems is we've only played them once the last couple of years. We've lost a little bit of that rivalry. I still think it's a pretty good rivalry. It's a border state. They've been pretty good over the years. I think a lot of people still get excited about Indiana being on the schedule and when that game comes up.

en Drake is certainly a worthy opponent. They gave us a pretty good game out here a couple of years ago. Drake is a good enough team to come in here and beat us. If you don't play well, you give people the opportunity to upset you.

en I think it is as simple, just a simple fact that they're pretty good and always have (been). I think if you take a look at every other team in the league, there has been some slipping. Some teams have slipped and had years when they've had down years, but I can't remember a year when Michigan has been down. Their down years are pretty good years.
