 Our kids have played hard from the get-go, but they just didn't understand positioning very well. That's what we spent the most time on, playing the angles and being in the right position to make plays. That's been the biggest difference.

 Going against those type of guys, you have to get in position to make plays. You have to have good timing to make plays on the ball. We know we can match up speed for speed. You just have to be aggressive, but you also have to be smart.

 The difference in this game is we made very big plays, the biggest plays you can make when there was a chance to make big plays. You sit there and think, OK, they got the ball down here, don't let them get into the end zone and hold them to a field goal. Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.

 He's got to be able to show that he can counteract his (5-9) size with his speed and quickness, make plays, not turn the ball over and make open shots. And then, defensively, he has to use his speed and quickness to harass guys, make them use the clock, as opposed to getting in a position where the post him up.

 The system is not as complex as some people think. We have so much speed at every position. There's always going to be an open guy in our plays. It's just my job to get the football to the right people.

 The biggest difference I've seen through (training) camp and through the offseason was just the speed and tempo and also the aggressiveness they have been playing with. There are a lot more guys showing up on film and a lot more red hats around the ball.

 We did a lot of things to put ourselves in position to win, but we just can't seem to make the big plays right now. The biggest problem we had was an inability to score runs. We only struck out four times in 21 plate appearances, which tells me we are putting the bat on the ball, but we are hitting it right at people.

 During that 15-0 run, we moved the ball really well and we got the ball to people in positions where they were comfortable to make plays. That's why we were able to do it.  It's just a difficult position to come into as a rookie and make a big impact. I don't think people outside the game appreciate the difficulty involved. I mean, you can talk about the speed of the game, and how different it is, but there are a lot of other things that contribute to the problems players have at the position. It's a very steep learning curve, and it takes some guys a year or two to overcome it. It's a very short list of guys who come in and make an immediate difference at the position.

 It's one of those things that was gonna make the team better so I wanted to make the switch, ... It's going pretty smooth so far. It's not really that much of a difference. The biggest thing is actually taking every snap. As a tight end, I'd only get maybe 30 or 40 plays at the most but now I'm getting close to 70 plays a game.

 Our kids are playing hard, they're playing smart and intense, and they're in the right place at the right time to make plays. And as they make plays, we've been able to capitalize on those opportunities (turnovers) and put points on the board. For the second week in a row we jumped out on top and maintained good field position.

 We're playing with a lot of energy and a lot of passion. Guys are really striving to make big plays and create turnovers - making big hits - and that's the type of defense that coach Dungy wants us to be.
