We just kept on gezegde

We just kept on pushing. That's going to happen in every game. You just got to let those plays go and keep moving on, and that's what we did today.

We try to do that every game. We tend to score a lot better when we're pushing the ball. We just have to get moving and be active defensively and offensively. I thought our passing was real good today.

I told Erica she'll win way more races than I ever will. She's a win waiting to happen. I'm just glad that first one didn't come today with me in the other lane. She's very talented and she's got a lot of pressure on her being 22 years old and driving a car with a big sponsor. She might have been pushing it too hard today but she'll get hers.

How many extra pitches did Phillip have to throw because we didn't make some plays? It's disheartening to play as well as we did at East Rowan (a 4-1 win on Monday) and then turn around and not play with any intensity today. We need to be pushing forward, but we're playing one good game, then taking a step back.

I took my game to another level. And today, those plays just stood out more. I try to do those plays consistently, but they looked better today.

I don't know what's pushing him, but he certainly plays a great game now. He's exactly what we always wanted him to be.

I'm at the point where pushing it is making it worse. I've been pushing it for so long that it's easier to sprain every game. I've sprained it in seven of the last 10 games. I'm going to take a game off and try to let it heal a little bit and try to be ready for (Tuesday's game at Chicago).

Power plays and penalty kills are all about momentum. In fact, that's the way the game of hockey is played. One team gets the momentum and that's it. Today, Stevens Point did a good job killing our power plays. I think we only got one or two good shots when we had them a man down. Hats off to them. They played a very solid game today. We showed some inexperience and nerves today. Our goal now is to get back here again next year and try again. We've come a long way in a short time. The kids were great all season long.

I struggle with, 'Are we moving too soon? Are we moving too slow?' ... You guys are pushing me in an area I don't want to go. I don't want to lose another person.

It is like pushing a big rock down a hill. It takes a little time to get it moving, but once it gets moving, it moves very fast. And that is where we are getting right now.

That's what teams that believe in the running game do, Sometimes it doesn't happen in the first, second or third quarter, but if you keep on working on it, and you believe in it then usually the big plays will happen, and through the years, that's usually what happens.

There had been some close plays near the sideline. There was some pushing and shoving and that didn't help matters. In a situation like this, it's best to call the game.

UIS made some big shots. We had some turnovers that really hurt us were self-inflicted. Those were big plays. It's a championship game, and you make the big plays. I felt proud our kids came back again. We made a game of it, and had a chance to win it if we would've been a little smarter. But we had a young team and those things happen sometimes. Give UIS credit, they did a nice job.

I don't feel that my whole game was bad. Those two plays I gave up were deep balls. They weren't touchdowns but they were long plays and they created momentum shifts. I mean, my body felt good, I was moving well. On the first one they just ran a great route for the defense we were in. Basically, that's what happened.

We came out and we were playing at home, we had a strong crowd and we were getting our rings. Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness. I don't know if because of that we thought we were just going to come out and win the game - but it doesn't happen that way. Not against a team like that. We better learn fast, or we are going to struggle. Teams come here and they want to win, especially New England. Our attitude wasn't urgent enough and it comes down to people making plays and we didn't make plays. Everybody needs to do that, and tonight they made the play to change the game.
