 When someone leaves you, apart from missing them, apart from the fact that the whole little world you've created together collapses, and that everything you see or do reminds you of them, the worst is the thought that they tried you out and, in the end, the whole sum of parts adds up to you got stamped REJECT by the one you love.

 It is very inspiring and amusing how many people have come out in this genuine and spontaneous way to embrace peace and reject war. It reminds us there is a human and gentle spirit out there in this world.

 I thought the worst of the worst. And you don't think it selfishly. I just know how important softball is to Brittany and after missing last season, I knew how painful it would be for her.

 This is a challenge. It means that what you do in a secular, modern democracy may offend people in some parts of the world, people not living in this type of society. I think it would be unfortunate if people in Saudi Arabia or some parts of the world influenced what we speak about in Denmark. [But] it's a fact of globalization, and we must consider it.

 Love is like energy. It can never be created nor destroyed...it is just always there. That next person could be one of your friends or someone you might dislike, you just have to find that out.
