en Of late, things have really been coming together. A lot of the credit for that goes to the team. For me to get this honor is great. It's nice to represent all of these guys. We could have five or six guys here.

en It's really been great. What I've won or been recognized for, I share with my teammates. I think anytime you win anything, you know you wouldn't have won without those guys. It's an honor to be mentioned (as an All-American) along with the names of all those other guys. It's an honor to represent the school and the team. Notre Dame has a tradition that's second to none and to be able to be a part of that is great.

en It's always nice. It's an honor to be considered as one of those guys and be up there on the list with them. Considering how many great guys have come through the organization, it's an honor for sure.

en It's nice for those guys that I played with to see me now, to see how I've evolved. It's nice to see Brad Ausmus say 'Hey you're doing great. I'm happy for you.' And Baggy. It means a lot coming from those guys.

en If you meet the parents of these guys, you know why these guys are such great guys. Really nice people, really know how to keep things in perspective. No big egos, nobody worrying about 'What about my kid? What about my kid's ice time?' That plays right to the kids.

en The season has ups and downs, and for the most part, things have been on the up and up. It's nice to get recognized individually. At the same time, without the team around me it wouldn't have happened. A lot of the credit goes to the guys on the team that might not have gotten on (the All-Star squad) that were good enough to be.

en I hope we don't give up 38, but that would be great to beat them 42-38. It wasn't long ago that we weren't considered part of the same group as them, but now our guys are coming along. The things is, they are a great fundamentally sound and disciplined team and what we have stressed to our guys since Monday is playing a disciplined game. We can't have 90 yards in penalties like we did last week.

en It feels great to get my first (touchdown pass), no matter where it was, but it was great to get it here. Obviously, a lot of credit goes to the other guys, the receivers and especially the guys up front. Things are going to come together. All we need to do is keep working hard. Being young, I'm continuing to learn and make strides every week.

en Our guys played great in front of me. That's what we're stressing, solid defense. It's hard to play a team like that because they're so fast and they crash and they bang and they send guys all the time. Their defense is pinching. It's a credit for our guys to stand in there and take the punishment.

en My guys almost every night battle really hard. They've had a lot of things go against them in late game situations and we haven't been able to seize the moment. Lately, we've been able to do that and our guys appear to growing up as a team.

en We're here to win ballgames. That's why we play this game. The Pro Bowl honor is nice. It's an honor to represent your team, but it's about everybody getting a little extra cash in the form of playoff money at the end of the year. I'll be elated when that happens.

en I think (our execution) has been under scrutiny of late and it starts as a team. We all support one another and I thought tonight was a great example of those guys coming off the bench and giving us a big lift. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

en It was a total team effort, I couldn't be happier about it. We've done some great things as a dual-meet team. We've overcome some adversities as a dual-meet team. I compare it to the Pats in 2001 when they presented as a team. That's our strength. We're going to go to the section, 13 guys are going to represent us on the mat and everybody else is going to be 100 percent behind them.

en It's nice to be going (to state) with those guys. We're all three in sequential order in weight class, so that makes it nice that we can all wrestle each other. Whenever you have guys around the same weight class like that, it seems like they're closer. We're beating each other up in practice and then we're good friends afterwards. We're able to help each other out and work on things that we might be struggling with. It's nice to have guys you're close with going down there with you.

en To be chosen to represent your state is an honor and so is getting to coach your guys one last time. I'm excited to work with a great coaching staff, and great players for a week. It's really my first all-star game and I'm excited.
