I didn't know if I could help him or not. I took some bullets here locally because I defended him and I stood by him. What kind of friend would I have been if I hadn't been there for him?

 I took over as president in October. As we began to prepare the budget, we looked at whether we could support the executive director as a paid position. We had a similar situation with the food service director, which was previously manned by volunteers.

 With the new system we can have better programming and a better fall semester. Rather than having to learn the job, the new executive director and assistant director will come in from their last year knowing how to do the job already. We wanted to keep our own system and modify and change it for the better.

 Having a friend like Mike has been a blessing. He kept me on the right track as a youth and continues to be a good friend to me even today.

 The foundation appreciates the many years of service Jim Snyder provided as director, ... He leaves a legacy of preserving history for future generations to enjoy. The foundation is in debt to Jim's sacrifices and hard work.
