 I think that we did a good job today to get back on track. It has been a difficult week. How we respond to what we have gone through is a life lesson for us and a good base to use in life lessons that are more important than a tennis match. To turn things around and make things better the rest of the season is a life lesson that they can store away and fall back on and use when things are difficult. I thought the way they approached today and how they played was a great way to respond to my challenge.

 I think it was too much for me, ... I played great against Andy. Today I played worse, but it wasn't the tennis. I think it was something in the head. Yesterday, I didn't have so much time to rest, and I got so many phone calls. I think I have to learn how to deal with these things.

 I'm very excited. We've had great battles over the years, and now that I haven't played her since my comeback, it's definitely a great challenge. We always played one of the best matches because we knew every time we played, either we win the tournament or we were close to doing so. So (it) always brought the best tennis out of each other.

 I'm just really excited. It hasn't hit me yet. I'm pretty much over my head. It's an honor to have them out there. They played great tennis. It's wonderful. I'm still in a state of shock.

 It's finally great to put together two really great sets. I think that's the first time I've done that all season. I played some of the best tennis I've played in my four years.

 There will be some great tennis matches in this tournament. Anyone who enjoys hard-fought tennis matches with talented players will see great tennis. We will take it one point, one game, one set and one match at a time and leave our best play on the court.

 After that first set, he just gave me a lesson. Every time I came to the net, he passed me. Serve and volley I couldn't do because he returned so well. If we played from the baseline, he made me run. And I didn't want to run today.

 I played really solid tennis. I played smart tennis. I took out her strengths. It's just exciting to beat someone that's playing such amazing tennis, especially after having a tough few months. I feel comfortable with the pace that I'm hitting and with the way I'm moving.

 Actually, as a kid I wanted to be a tennis player, but I wasn't good enough, so I became an actor. Since then, I've just been lip-locking with gorgeous babes. So, let that be a lesson to all you little tennis players out there.

I needed some time into the game, but in the second and third sets I played great tennis,

 I had match points in the second set but I played very badly, and I pretty much gave him that second set. I could have ended this match sooner than I did but this is how tennis is, things can turn around really quickly. In the end the most important thing is the result. I am very happy I was able to come through 7-5 in the third today.

 Jose has a fun and lively personality and he's always able to keep things light in serious situations. Plus he's a great competitor. Ivan has stepped up this year and is playing great tennis right now. It will be hard to lose them, but I am excited these guys are playing their best tennis right now.

 One of their girls played a serve and volley game that is very uncommon in the tennis world, yet very effective. With such a different playing style, we were simply out gunned. Thus ended a great CHS Tennis season.
