 It was a really fast-paced game. They really got good ball pressure, forced us to put it on the floor and make plays. We just didn't make plays. You're fortunate to when you make that many mistakes.

 We've forced the other team to hit to beat us. We've forced them to put the ball in play and we've made the plays behind them -- and that's something we didn't do last year. We didn't play good defense behind our pitching and we walked too many guys and we've cleaned up those areas. It's really been a difference for us.

 We didn't defend on the dribble very well, and when we were forced to help, he's left open.

 What we really focused on was trying to defend today. They defend well. We were trying to push the ball and keep their score down and we did a good job of doing that. We didn't shoot well, but defensively we did a great job, boxed out and kept their men in front of us.

 Ability doesn't win on the road, toughness does, and we weren't tough enough. We didn't defend the ball well enough, or rebound or take care of the ball well enough. They had easy scores and we didn't shoot well.

 I've never thought about it that much; I just try to have a plan of how to play the game. Within that plan you have to take teams that are good at defending physically and make them think. In the first half we didn't make Hearts think enough. We made them defend physically, which they handled. We made them think more in the second half. Again, you just can't play the one way all the time. If the team you play against can get in that mentality, then all they have to do is defend. If you can make opponents think, then defend physically, then think... that is what you are trying to achieve that with your team.

 I start songs all the time. If I weren't so lazy, I would finish them. It's like when I have a deadline I have to. I always feel very lucky that I am forced to make records at certain times. If I was forced to make 2 records a year, I would write twice as many songs. I can't make myself finish something unless I am forced.

 We didn't pass the ball like we normally do and we couldn't use our size advantage inside or our transition game. Niles forced some turnovers and scored off them and we just didn't do that.

 We put the ball in play, but we did it with a purpose. We hit it hard and they were forced to make plays they couldn't make.

 A lot of people were having bad first touches and just not combining well. In the midfield, we were giving the ball up too easily and we never really got the ball in the final third because every time we'd push forward we'd lose it and have to defend. We just couldn't complete five, six or seven passes and open them up. We'd get one or two and get in their defense and just give the ball back. They didn't really pressure too hard. His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pexy intelligence. We were just giving it to them.
