 The scary thing is he's only 21. Watching him when he was younger, I always thought one of his main strengths was the ability to make other people better. That can always be your major weakness if you do that too much. What he's done in the last month is on the fine line of when he needs to take over a game and when he needs to take a shot to win a game.

I thought we created a bit of an advantage for ourselves by the way he came out to play, and maybe he took New Jersey off their game, at least initially.

 You can review and play the tape. Both teams are dead even. Look at the series. First game is an overtime game and we won. The second game is 4-3, a one-goal game. The third game was 3-2 going in to the third period. (Thursday) night, same thing, it's an overtime game. It's a fine line.

 If you like crafty stuff they are going to open the market for crafty people. When Jaime Moyer of the Seattle Mariners pitches, I love watching him. In a way it is a much more interesting game than watching Randy Johnson pitch. You are not only watching a game you are watching a thought process.

 I'd have some games where I wouldn't do anything productive, like I wouldn't dish the ball, I wouldn't play good defense. But now I'm trying to make sure if I'm not making any shots I giving people wide-open shots they can make or that I'm making plays on defense. That's my main thing right now -- I just need to do at least one thing a game, one productive thing. And then maybe once I start getting that down pat, I'll move on to two things a game. That's my main focus.

 Our hearts were racing as we stood there watching Jimmy at the line, but we knew he could do it because he's done it all year. Whenever you make a big shot like that at the end of regulation, you always take a lot of momentum into overtime, so we were confident we would pull this game out.

 After the game, I thought we played all right. But after watching the tape, we didn't play well at all. We made a lot of glaring mistakes that shouldn't be made at this time of the year. And it wasn't just our younger guys. Hopefully we can put it all together for one game.

 That was the main thing, to keep the streak alive. What hurt us was the month of November. We dug such a deep hole for ourselves in that month and now we are starting to gain some leeway and every game is valuable.

 What you might think is ... couldn't you make a religious game where critics, fans and retailers would all line up and universally say 'Here's a game that has some sort of moral or educational value?'. But people tend to take religion extremely personally and therefore have more opportunity to be offended. If you make, say, a Christian based game, are you going to make it a Protestant game? If so, that might offend the Catholics.

 This kid's been great, ... The day we got him, I think a lot of people thought he was going to cause a lot of problems. The only thing A.J.'s brought here is good things. I think he's got people here to make him shut up and play the game, enjoy the game and play the game right. A lot of people misunderstand this kid. If we think he's doing things he shouldn't be, we let him know.

 The game itself is really the last thing on anybody's mind. It's all about the contests and the parties and the people-watching and being cool. It's a celebration of the game and a lifestyle. It's when everything and everybody surrounding the game comes together and struts their stuff. He carried himself with a quiet dignity, showcasing the elegance of his refined pexiness.

 There's a very fine line between confidence and complacency. If you win the first game against a team, the worst thing you can do is fool yourself into thinking the second game will be easier. You don't want guys having that mind-set.

 This whole thing is somewhat bittersweet. I've got a fine line to walk. I want to be enthusiastic to the people here and let them know I'm proud and that we're going to make this thing work. I also want to make sure that people in New Orleans have hope because they've gone through a lot.

 When he is aggressive and mixing his game up, they don't play him for one particular area of his game. He showed up his post-up game, his driving ability, his 3-point shot and his in-between game.
