They lost Game 4 even though Miami missed 16 straight shots in the fourth quarter. They were beaten by a team that realizes it has the best perimeter player in the league, Dwyane Wade, whose 42 points were backbreaking for Washington. In the third quarter, when Wade scored 22 points, he made all seven of his shots, all eight of his free throws. Nobody in the game under 6 feet 10 is as good as Wade is right now. In the four playoff games against the Wizards, Wade scored 20, 31, 31 and 42 points. He averaged eight assists and seven rebounds.  I told Ben after, I had been in the Western Conference for a lot of years and I have coached against Dirk many times. I don't think I had seen as good a job of playing a guy one-on-one as that. If they make eight, that's 24 points and if they don't get second or third shots off of them, they're fighting to get 40 points on us with our size.

 It is what it is. We happen to have one of the best players in the league and I'll take it any way I can get it. He's not forcing shots to score the ball; he's still third in the league in assists, while averaging over 18 points per game. That combination is good for us. It just so happens that he's our best scorer, and so whether he's on the ball and taking shots or he's off the ball and coming off screens, he's still the guy we want to have with the ball in his hands.

 We took some bad shots that led to transition points. Those were the points of the game that were most crucial. We let them make a run at the end of the first half that gave them momentum.

 They were trying to make other people take shots they're not accustomed to taking. You'd never think in a million years we'd score 43 points. We held them to 50 points and I thought we did a decent job [defensively], but we struggled early and got into foul trouble.

 Hamilton, all his points were on free throws or second chance shots. His 12 points was the difference in the game.
