My goal has always gezegde

 My goal has always been to be like a female George Burns. Having had the opportunity to work with him so many times, especially at the end of his life, I felt so inspired by him all the time. I totally agreed with him. We would talk about how lucky we were to find something that we loved when we were kids and to just grow more in love with it as time goes on.

 We help the kids that have a lot of talent but limited finances. Our goal is to use tennis as a way to help kids get college scholarships, while keeping them occupied in a sport that teaches them the lessons of life. You have to love what you do, and that rubs off on the kids and then they get inspired. I don't deserve an award, I am having the time of my life.

 When we first started out I had a really big issue and a lot of my loved ones had a really big issue with the fact that I was totally in pain up there and there was a time when I tried to hurt myself off stage, but I got over that. Like, you should never want to hurt yourself. You should love yourself. Sometimes you have to kind of die inside in order to rise from your own ashes and believe in yourself and love yourself and become a new person and I think that that is going to be a lot of what the next record is about, not to plug it or anything. Like, it's going to talk about dying and coming back to become what you totally want to become. We are all becoming what we want to become.

 I'm a stay-at-home mom, but I wanted to find work that would allow us time to take care of our kids. We felt this was the best opportunity.

 [Burns says he has been particularly inspired by accounts of Japanese-American soldiers who left internment camps to serve in combat in Europe.] These men were only given one opportunity as volunteers and that was to go straight to combat, ... They went straight to the battlefield. It was very tragic. But they were some of the most amazing heroes of the war. And that's the kind of thing I didn't know when I started working on this project and the kind of thing I love to talk about. It gets me excited. And it's more fun when you can talk about it with people in a forum.

 I love the challenge of molding a team to accomplish a goal, and I'm lucky because I've loved coming to work everyday and I've loved every day of my coaching career.  I loved talking to Sam Hodges. He was always very interesting, and I felt like I learned something every time I talked to him. I thought he was a fascinating man - maybe tough to work for, but he knew his business. He was extremely intelligent and fun to talk to.

 Tennis for me is the same whether I'm playing in a tournament or instructing, ... I just have a passion for the sport and love the game. That's what I tell all the kids I work with about life. ‘Just find something you love to do and be passionate about it and it won't seem like work.'

 I've been lucky enough to talk to Mr. Blount from time to time, ... I just try to get his feeling on the game and what I need to work on. He always tells me to stay aggressive and be consistent, because that's what's going to keep you here.
